Personal care
Bathing, dressing, and grooming at a pace that still belongs to the resident.
Private assisted living in California
CareTree USA is a small residential assisted living home for older adults who want help with the day without giving up the feeling of a house. Meals are cooked here. Caregivers learn each person. Families are welcome at the table.
New opening in Phoenix, Arizona. Email us if your family is looking there. The street address is shared when a tour is confirmed.
Prefer to look around first? See life in the home
A household, not a campus. Care happens in the rooms where people actually live.
A small household
The home stays small so residents are known by name, habit, and history.
Care day and night
A caregiver is in the house through the night, not only during visiting hours.
Their own doctors
Residents keep the physicians and pharmacies the family already trusts.
Tours without hurry
Walk the rooms, ask direct questions, and decide on your own calendar.
Why a house
Large communities have their place. So does a front door, a kitchen, and a day that does not run on a loudspeaker. CareTree is built for the second kind of family.
Residents bring their own routines. We build the day around those routines: medication at the right time, a shower when they want one, a chair in the shade when the California light is kind, and a quiet hour when they do not want company.
Adult children write from across the state and from farther away. They want a clear picture of how a parent is actually doing. We give that picture in ordinary language, and we tell you early if the home is no longer the safest place.
Resident care
Every plan is written for one person. These are the kinds of support families ask us about most.
Bathing, dressing, and grooming at a pace that still belongs to the resident.
Doses on time, orderly records, and fewer guesses for the family.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner cooked in this kitchen, plus snacks and water through the day.
A steady arm, safer paths through the house, and an early word if balance changes.
Laundry, linens, and housekeeping so the house feels lived in, not clinical.
Conversation, music, rest, and time outside when the weather is kind.
From California families
These reflections stand in until families who live this with us choose to share their own words.
The house was quiet in the way a real home is quiet. Someone knew how my mother takes her tea, and she was dressed in her own sweater.
I live a few hours away. The updates are plain and specific, which is all I wanted. I never have to decode a chart to know how the day went.
We toured larger places and they were lovely, but my aunt disappeared in them. Here she has a chair that is hers, and people notice if she skips breakfast.
Questions
Licensing, cost, nightly care, and how a tour starts. The longer list is on the FAQ page.
It is a house where a small number of older adults live and receive help with daily life. CareTree USA is that kind of home: a private residence, not a large campus with long corridors and a public lobby.
In California, this kind of care is licensed as a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly. The smaller size is the reason many families choose a house.
CareTree USA is a private home in California. We share the street address when a tour is confirmed. That keeps the household quiet for the people who live here, and it still gives you an exact pin before you drive over.
Yes. A new CareTree home is opening in Phoenix, Arizona. The California household is the one families can ask about now, and Phoenix is the next one.
Email us if your family is looking in either place. We share the Phoenix street address when a tour there is confirmed. Arizona licenses small assisted living homes through the Department of Health Services, and we will show that license when the state issues it. We do not publish a license number we do not have.
Personal care, medication support, meals, housekeeping, companionship, and a caregiver in the home day and night. The written plan says what a specific resident needs. Two people in the same house can have very different plans.
Email us or send the family inquiry form. There is no phone line until the business is registered. Tell us a little about your parent and what kind of help an ordinary week requires. If the home might be a fit, we schedule a tour. If it is not, we will tell you that too.
The rate depends on the room and the care plan. On a tour we walk through what is included and what would change the cost, in writing, before anyone is asked to decide.
If you are using long-term care insurance or another benefit, bring the policy. We will look at it with you. We do not promise that a policy will pay.
Family inquiry
You do not need a perfect summary. A few honest details are enough for us to say whether a tour makes sense.
Until CareTree is registered, email is the way to reach us. There is no phone number yet.
If someone may be hurt or in danger, call 911. This form cannot send emergency help.
